Bowling Green Police Arrest Resident for Aggravated Menacing

On August 4, 2019 at approximately 2:42 pm officers responded to reports of a  male subject that had threatened people with a knife at both 136 S. Main St and 174 S. Main St.   Officers located the suspect and began speaking with witnesses.   Officers were advised that the suspect had been in a verbal altercation earlier with another subject and then had opened his knife in a threatening manner toward both the victims.

Devon Michael Battig (23 yrs old, from Bowling Green) was arrested on two counts of Aggravated Menacing and he was lodged at the Wood County justice Center.
