BG POLICE MAKE ARREST REGARDING HIT SKIP CRASH

On September 6, 2019 at 3:00 am the Bowling Green Police Division responded to the area of 706 Napoleon Rd. regarding two pedestrians that were struck by a vehicle and the vehicle had left the scene.  Officers and members of the Bowling Green Fire Department arrived on scene.  Officers gathered information regarding the suspect vehicle and how the accident occurred.  Officers were advised that the suspect vehicle was a white colored vehicle.

One victim was transported to the St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment. The other victim had no injuries.

On September 11, 2019 the Bowling Green Police Division received a call from a local body shop regarding a vehicle that was brought into their facility.  The employee believed that vehicle could possibly be the vehicle that was involved in the hit-skip crash.  Officers arrived on scene and with the assistance of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation processed the vehicle.

Bowling Green Police Division Detectives were able to identify the local driver of the vehicle, who admitted to being involved in the crash.

Elijah Moses (20 yrs old, from Bowling Green) was charged with Failure to Stop After an Accident.   Additional charges are pending.
