Updated: Suspect in Burglary and Vandalism Case in Custody

Update: Lance E. Pfaff was taken into custody following a short foot pursuit in Lucas County last night. He claimed injury during the arrest and was taken to the hospital for treatment. He will be taken to the Wood County Justice Center upon his release from the hospital.

On August 11, 2013 officers responded to a call of a burglary at 804 North Enterprise Street. Upon their arrival an apartment in the complex was found to have been entered and extensively damaged. Items in the apartment were destroyed and paint sprayed throughout. The damages to the apartment alone exceeded $11,000.00. Officers contacted the resident who was staying out of town at the time of the burgalry. It was learned that the resident had been a victim of a staliking. Additional evidence was collected and probable cause was developed to charge   Lance E. Pfaff, 46 of Holland, Ohio. Pfaff has active warrants for the burglary and vandalism. Pfaff is believed to be in the Toledo, ohio area and is known to have a handgun. He is considered armed and dangerous and if located do not confront him and call 911 immediately. He is the owner of a 2011 Tan Volvo with Ohio Plate EWY 6943.  He may also be driving a navy blue Volkswagon Passat with an unknown plate number. Picture Below.
