Bowling Green Police investigate report of bank robbery

Bowling Green (June 19, 2014) – On June 19, 2014, at approximately 10:43 AM PM the City of Bowling Green Police Division received the report of an attempted bank robbery that had just occurred at the Huntington Bank located at 1480 East. Wooster St.

The robbery was reportedly attempted by a thin black male, approximately 6’5” with an athletic build, in his late 30’s to early 40s, wearing a tan suit, white collared shirt, light colored necktie, an “Obama 2010” hat, with gold teeth, and carrying a black in color bag or briefcase. The subject brandished a black in color handgun during the attempt.

The subject entered a light blue colored sedan and left the area eastbound on Wooster St.

The Bowling Green Police Division is being assisted at the scene by agents of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, BCI & I, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
