Bowling Green Police Investigate Robbery, Suspect Apprehended after Pursuit and Crash

On Tuesday 7-8-14 at approximately 8:50 pm , The Bowling Green Police Division was notified of a robbery that had occurred at Tan Pro, 1432 E. Wooster St. An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on E. Wooster St. and observed the vehicle turn south on Interstate 75. The vehicle spun out and as the officer drove up to the vehicle it continued south failing to comply when signaled to stop. The Officer pursued the vehicle to west bound Route 6 where the vehicle exited at Route 25, crossed over 25 and crashed while attempting to re-enter Route 6. The car rolled multiple times and the driver was ejected. The driver was taken into custody and transported by Life Flight to St. Vincent’s where he remains in ICU with serious injuries. The driver was identified as Thomas Fred Quick Jr.37 of GaylordMichigan. Quick has been charged with aggravated robbery, 2 counts of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, and falsification. The incident remains under investigation.
