City police received a number of complaints regarding damage to privately owned property as a result of graffiti being placed on a variety of surfaces during the period of December 9 through 13, 2011.  Some of the locations that similar graffiti was found included the Wood County Courthouse Complex, a garage in the 700 block of Sixth St., the 300 block of N. Main Street., a business in the 400 block of E. Wooster Street, behind business in the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of South Main Street.  BGPD Detectives have worked with Detectives from Bowling Green State University in that similar graffiti was found on the campus of Bowling Green State University.

The majority of the graffiti bore some reference to “fa5v_0” as well as bearing designs of crowns and circular figures.
