BGPD Investigate Thefts from Vehicles
Bowling Green (June 14, 2012 ) – The Bowling Green Police Division is investigating a series of thefts from vehicles in which various types of items including electronics, money and personal items have been stolen.
The Division received 15 reports of thefts from vehicles, predominantly in the south eastern quadrant of the city, from 6/3/12 through 6/11/12.
Investigation into the incidents continues.
Citizens are reminded to keep vehicles secured (windows up, sunroofs secured, convertible tops closed and door locks locked) and articles of value removed from vehicles when owners are absent from the vehicles, as the majority of such thefts in our community occur as crimes of opportunity.

Persons contacting Wood Co. CrimeStoppers have the opportunity to remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1000 if the information that they provide proves to be pertinent to the case.
