Lt. Bengela
Lt. Bengela is responsible for supervision of the Operations Bureau which includes the Patrol Division, Detective Division, Animal Control and Parking Services. Operations Bureau personnel are the most visible representatives of the agency in the community.
They are responsible for the bulk of the agency’s service delivery. Operations personnel can be seen walking foot patrol, on bike patrol, in a cruiser conducting speed enforcement or investigating and processing crime scenes. Operations personnel are also engaged in community oriented and youth activities sponsored by BGPD and other agencies.
