Animal Control Officer Tom Sieving
The Animal Control Officer is a civilian employee. This position is responsible for the enforcement of all ordinances that regulate animals within the city of Bowling Green. The position requires the investigation of all animal complaints, including animal cruelty and animal bites. The Patrol Section handles many of the calls for service when the Animal Control Officer is off duty.
Based on citizen requests, the Division changed it's policy in 1998 enabling the Animal Control Officer to begin trapping nuisance wildlife.
