Deputy Chief

Deputy Chief Bradford M. Conner

Major Bradford M. Conner was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief in July of 2006. Prior to his promotion to Deputy Chief, Major Conner served as the Operations Bureau Commander for (5) years. Major Conner has also served as the Services Bureau Commander and the Administrative Lieutenant, where he helped the agency become re-accredited by CALEA in 2001. Major Conner has been with the agency since June1, 1981.

Major Conner holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Bowling Green State University, graduating in 2001. Major Conner is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy’s 197th Session, completed in 1999.

Major Conner is a graduate of the F.B.I. Great Lakes Law Enforcement Leadership Seminar, the Ohio Certified Law Enforcement Executive training (CLEE VI), the Police Executive Leadership College (PELC XXIV) and the Northwestern University Traffic Institute, School of Police Staff and Command (N.U.T.I. #65). Major Conner has received “Weapons of Mass Destruction and Law Enforcement Protective Measures” training in Anniston, Alabama.

Major Conner is employed as an independent contractor for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement (CALEA) of Fairfax, Virginia. Major Conner serves as a Team Leader for assessments of agencies participating in the CALEA Accreditation process.

Major Conner has served on numerous boards and commissions within the Bowling Green and Wood County area. He is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Bowling Green Community Foundation Board of Trustees. Major Conner is very active in the community volunteering as a youth coach, scout leader and PTO member.
